PHIL WICKHAM
NOTE: Phil Wickham will be playing with his full band!
“I’ve been singing songs about being a child of God since I was three years old,” Phil says. “I know that phrase. But it went from a Sunday School idea to this massive, freeing truth. Maybe because I’m a dad now. I equated my love for my kids to the God who is love – who created love. He loves me like a father. I found so much freedom and hope and peace in this fresh realization of my standing with Him as a child.”
Given a new sense of passion and freedom, Phil sat down to do what had proven so difficult just a few months earlier. He sat down to write some songs.
“I started writing songs out of this reawakening in my heart,” he says. “I still didn’t know if I was going to be able to sing a whole record of them. But I had a freedom and a lightness in my heart. That’s why I called the record Children of God. The way I feel about the record, that excitement and freshness, I feel like it’s my first record all over again. I feel refreshed. I have a new sound and a new heart. I can’t wait to get on the road and play these songs.”
That zeal is evident on Children of God’s first single, “Your Love Awakens Me,” a rollicking, massive worship anthem with an unforgettable chorus that dares you not to dance along. “I feel like my heart’s been reawakened to passion and purpose. That’s where the song came from,” Phil explains. “I definitely wanted the lyrics to be very communal in a way that wasn’t specific to my situation, but is specific to everyone’s situation who is going through something hard. The music coupled with the lyrics and celebrating God’s love and wanting more of Him – I hope that will inspire people.”

NICK VUJICIC
Imagine getting through your busy day without hands or legs. Picture your life without the ability to walk, care for your basic needs, or even embrace those you love. Meet Nicholas Vujicic (pronounced VOO-yee-cheech). Without any medical explanation or warning, Nick was born in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia, without arms and legs. Three sonograms failed to reveal complications. And yet, the Vujicic family was destined to cope with both the challenge and blessing of raising a son who refused to allow his physical condition to limit his lifestyle.
According to Nick, the victory over his struggles, as well as his strength and passion for life today, can be credited to his faith in God. His family, friends and the many people he has encountered along the journey have inspired him to carry on, as well.
Since his first speaking engagement at age 19, Nick has traveled around the world, sharing his story with millions, sometimes in stadiums filled to capacity, speaking to a range of diverse groups such as students, teachers, young people, business professionals and church congregations of all sizes. Today this dynamic young evangelist has accomplished more than most people achieve in a lifetime. He’s an author, musician, actor, and his hobbies include fishing, painting and swimming. In 2007, Nick made the long journey from Australia to southern California where he is the president of the international non-profit ministry, Life Without Limbs, which was established in 2005.

LA WORSHIPS BAND (featuring Soo Kim)
LA WORSHIPS is a Los Angeles-based Praise and Worship Band desiring the people of all backgrounds to come into the presence of the Lord Almighty through the gift and power of music. We want to lift up the name of Jesus wherever we are called, and believe that worship is not limited to Sunday mornings, but rather, worship is a lifestyle that we seek in Christ Jesus. Our desire is to share the truth in love about Jesus to those who would have ears to hear and eyes to see. Each member has their own testimony, in which Jesus turns tears, heartaches, addictions, and being lost, into a story of redemption, hope, and glory. We are not just a Christian Band, but a band of Jesus Christ followers who want to invite others to know what it means to be satisfied and filled, to be heard and healed, to be known and loved.
ALYSSA HICKS
“I am Alyssa Hicks and I am blind, but I don’t let that hold me back. I live a pretty normal life. I don’t see my blindness as a handicap but as a blessing. I am in love with my savior Jesus Christ, and I am so thankful for His sacrifice on the cross. I love singing for his glory and playing the piano. I also enjoy writing music and poetry. I like bells and drinking hot tea by the fire. My favorite place on Earth is Starbucks. My favorite story in the whole world is A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickons. My favorite time of year is winter as you can probably tell. I enjoy eating healthy and exercising, but I also love chocolate with a passion! I adore my family, my friends, and my beautiful guide dog. Now that you know a bunch of random facts about me, I would love to get to know you! And if you ever need prayer for anything, never hesitate to ask. I LOVE praying for people! I love Jesus with all my heart, and I strive to be more like him every day.”
Favorite Quote:
“I see said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw, speaking to the deaf man who tripped over the lame dog who was walking accross the room.”
